This may be a crazy question but is there anyone in Michigan or close to Michigan that would be willing to do the install of the OEM SRT fogs for me. I have asked several dealerships and ALL of them tell me it will NOT work and it WILL CAUSE problems etc. I cannot stand my fogs and I have about 18,000 miles on my vehicle and have not turned on my fogs once. I certainly can pay for an install. Long shot question but thought I would try.... I am at a loss... EDIT 2016 Overland HA package. EDIT, I did get a quote for the fogs and install at 700.00 from the dealership and when I went to place the order with the dealership they transferred me to the service department who then said, we cannot install these. sigh...

I have another data point for the group. I just put a set of the LED fogs into my '14 Overland. (March 13 build) and I have a flicker in the lights. Does anyone know if a '14 can be coded at the dealer for these fogs, or do I need to just get the anti-flicker adapters?

I also have the 2 piece removable plastic plugs to hold the inner fender liner in and not the rivets.

The lights were take offs from an '18 Dodge Charger that was getting police equipment installed, but I can't imagine that they actually changed the bulb assembly any. The part number is exactly the same as specified in the original post.

Just get the anti flicker adapters. I had them on my 14 and I didn’t have any flicker issues. Plus when I traded it in I was able to swap them back out for the old ones. I now have the same lights installed on my 17 Altitude as it didn’t come with OEM LED fogs on this trim level.

That's strange, I have a MY2014 Summit march 2013 build and I have had the LEDs in for over 2 years without any flicker or issue. So you do have part number 68228884AC correct?

Yep. Part number is 68228884AC. They were take offs from an '18 Police car that was upfit with emergency lighting in the fog positions.

Another interesting thing I just discovered. If I turn the Jeep ON without actually starting it and turn the fogs on, they do not flicker. If I then hit the brake and start the GC they DO flicker. I'm going to have to do some more experimenting to see what the deal is. Seems to me that if they don't flicker when the Jeep is off, they should not flicker when its on.

No guarantees but you could try taking the battery cable off for a half hour or longer let all the modules reset see if that helps. I have done that several times on this jeep for various electrical gremlins.

I installed the OEM housings into my wife’s ‘15 Overland with no issues. I did plug in directly into car without anti-flicker harness to see what would happen. The lights flash on and then stay off for a few seconds and then repeat. Is this the flicker everyone is referring to! I do have the Putco H11 modules on order.

Were you able to resolve your issue?

You guys just need the anti flicker modules. Mine did the same thing. They've been fine for over a year now with the modules installed.

The dealer can add the LED fog code to your VIN which solves the issue. No need to worry about cheap anti flicker harnesses that can fail on you. That’s the route I went and they work fine on my 2018.

Hello,

I just traded my 2014 Limited for a 2018 Trailhawk with LED fogs. Before the trade I re-installed my halogen fogs and now have spare LED fog light set.

You can PM me if you would like to purchase. I paid $378 for them about a year ago, so I would think $150 for the pair would be fair.

I wasn't able to edit my post, so I wanted to clarify my original post. What you get is two nearly new Mopar LED fog lights for 40% of the original $378 sale price. There is very minimal wear and no stone chips in the lenses. The items will come carefully wrapped in the original Mopar boxes and can be shipped directly to you. The price does not include shipping, but I estimate shipping to be less than $15 for most continental US destinations. International shipments may be possible depending on complexity of the customs declarations.

Sold the fog lights. Thank you!

Hello everyone.
I replaced the fog lamps on my 2016 WK2 Laredo 75th anniversary with the SRT factory LEDs. I just did a plug & play install with no anti flicker module/harness. It is going on 2 weeks now and I have not experienced any flickering at all. Maybe it's because MY16 WK2 anniversary editions came with the MY17 new style headlights/bumper. But it was a simple plug & play install for me.

Has anyone else experienced this with their MY16 or MY17 LED fog lamp install/upgrade?
