Stuggling to get the bulb back in on my wife's overland. These bulbs have a square base. I got the old one out by wiggling it out from under the fender, then removing airbox to unplug it. Cant get the new one to go into socket. How do you get in back in without taking entire grill apart? Thanks, Merry Christmas.

Same here. Pulled bulb out but when I went to put it back in what a nightmare. Gave up and pulled the front fascia. Not as bad as it seems but still a pain just for a bulb. I also found that in my attempts to get the bulb in thru the little hole I had mashed one of the little metal fingers in the socket down which would have prevented ever seating the bulb correctly had I kept trying without pulling the fascia. IMHO the mounting system for those bulbs is crap.

I took my new light bulb, used my dremel tool to grind the leading edge of the rubber grommet at a 45degree angle. Then I put a little wd40 on it. After removing air box I was able to insert new bulb into place. Has worked perfect for 3wks. Fits snug and didnt have to remove grill and bumper. Dont completley remove leading edge. Just give a little bevel shape. Also I bought my bulbs from Walmart oline. 35.00 Just thought I would share. Good luck. I love it when a little ******* engineering works.
