Squeaking noise from rear passenger side wheel

How many miles on the clock?
How about squeaks when going over bumps?
Still could be a brake issue or some dry suspension bushing under stress while turning.

A bad wheel bearing typically but not always would have more of a grinding/humming sound rather than a squeaking sound.
The squeaking wheel sounds described in this thread can only be a few things.
-worn, contaminated or distorted pads
-glazed pads or rotors
-high metallic pads
-possibly bad caliper anti rattle hardware
-sticking calipers maybe caused by dry or no lube on the guide pins
-sticking caliper piston
-rock or other metallic debris embedded in the pads
-rock or other debri stick somewhere in the brake system
-over night temporary squeaks with rust on the rotor
-loose lug nuts
-excessive brake dust mostly with drum brakes though
-could be a bad U-joint depending on the vehicle
-Lastly might not even be a brake issue instead a squeaky bad bushing

Most mechanics typically raise the vehicle and eye ball the brakes.
Some of the above causes need a more thorough inspection by removing the caliper for a diagnosis.
