Picked up my Jeep after 17 days at the dealer. They replaced the valve body which was on national back order (Hmmm did others need replacing too?). The 8-speed valve body replacement was new territory for the techs at my dealer so they worked closely with their engineering contact at Chrysler. Once they got it back together, the transmission operated normally but was still throwing a code (MIL illuminated). Engineering determined it was a connector in the valve body that was not seated properly (from manufacturing). So, you guessed it, techs opened it up again and properly seated the connector. Once back together, all was good. On Monday the Case Manager from Chrysler is supposed to follow-up with me regarding my satisfaction with the repair. I sure hope this is behind us, especially since we're driving a fair distance for Thanksgiving.
