I have a 2018 WK2. A few years ago, especially when weather is cooler (or morning), the driver's side (all other windows are fine as I they are lightly used) window lets out short squeals when almost completely down and when starting to come up. I read that this is common in a lot of makes/models. Until now I was using the "Youtube fix" of spraying WD-40 Silicone spray on the inside of the rubber seals and the edges of the track. It actually worked..but only temporary. It seems that after a 2 - 4 months (actually sooner now), it wears off and the squeak/squeal returns. My concerns for 1) bringing to the dealer are 1) Is there a good fix...or actual worn part...or will they take door panel off and risk messing something else up...and charging me a lot and 2) I did have my chrome window trim vinyl wrapped and I'm not sure if a repair would damage it. Thoughts or experiences?
