Hi All,
My 2022 GC L, with under 3000 miles, has the Night Vision Camera display that shows a view skewed to the left. When I pull up close to the back of a vehicle in front of my L the cluster display just barely sees the right tail light of the vehicle ahead. On the road it is also very noticeable, I am missing from view much of the area beyond the right shoulder. This is a great disadvantage if looking out for deer.
I have complained on workorders twice to Freehold Jeep since vehicle was delivered 7 moths ago and all the say the camera is not adjustable. Next stop is corporate Customer Service.
The L was not in any accidents with no scuff on front bumper and I rarely parallel park and like I said this condition was delivered this way when new.
Anyone have a similar issue?

Nope mine seems fine. I'll check it again though.

I was washing my rig the other day and was on a step stool to reach the high center of my windshield, there is a camera there in the high center of the windshield in front of the rearview mirror. I would suspect that that is the location of the night view camera? Who knows there are so many cameras on the front. But the one by the mirror would seem to me to not be adjustable, but could be re-aligned. To test stick a piece of paper over area on windshield turn on night vision, if no display on dash that's the right camera. I know it has infra-red capabilities to display the heat signature of people or animals. If it's down in the grill, a slight shift in the alignment of the grill might have you seeing both right and left tail lights.

It is definitely down low, not sure if in top grill or lower grill. I have both it, and the trail cam in front, so not sure which is which. I'll check, I'm curious now as well.

I used mine last night, and it points almost straight ahead. If I had to specify exactly, it was a smidge to the left, like if 12:00 is straight ahead, it was pointed about 11:58. Basically, I would call it ideal. Distance on a straight road, the centerline of the road was centered.
Also, every time I use it, I am stunned how well it works. Seeing a warm sky at night, when in real life, you can't even see it vs horizon in the distance. Then seeing warm rocks vs dirt on the side of the road after sunset. Then you can tell if a car is running or not as you approach by the heat front and back, and if brakes are warm, all that!
You can even tell what cars have aluminum body panels by how warm/cold they are compared to the rest of the car.
If this is truly how some animals can see, that is creepy.

Horrible picture, my camera man had problems reaching over while I was driving, and my both hands on the wheel got in the way. But I think you can get the idea, right?

This one is clearer, but can't see the road ahead in the windshield as much. I need a new camera man.

In my opinion, the camera is not centered. If you look at the camera, it is in the same line of sight as the driver's seat. The camera is also recessed within the grill so it cannot be angled to the center. When I view mine, it is off-center but I believe because of the items I mentioned above.

I have a Jeep GC L and the night vision camera is a small circular dot in the front of your vehicles grille. It's ok the driver side when you look at your grille.

I don't have any issues with the alignment of the camera but it does glitch and pickup at random times objects not there.

You definitely have to report to corporate. Dealerships are useless these days.
