They just unbolt and pull out. Then the new ones get put in and bolted down. Obviously you need to unplug and replug the sensors The cam sensor is on the right front of the engine behind the water pump towards the top of the engine about level with the intake manifold mating surface The crank sensor is on the right rear of the engine below the cylinder head in the side of the engine block about 2 in up from the oil pan mating surface

 

If you're not aware, these two sensors are the most critical sensors for proper engine management and can leave you stranded if one or the other fails. IMO, it is also critical to use ONLY Mopar sensors for this, as some of the aftermarket ones either don't work properly right out of the box or fail in short order.

You may luck out and not "need" to sync the sensors, BUT you really should do it to verify they are properly sync'ed. I am not familiar with your Autel scanner, but I am pretty sure most of their advanced scanners have this capability. I have an Autel MS906BT and it can do it. If it does run and the sensors are not properly sync'ed, it'll mess with all of the engine management functions controlled by the PCM.....timing, fuel management, etc. Should be less than one degree difference, but I've seen a vehicle run with them out by a little over 2 degrees.

I must wait to the sensors will arrive.

I have now a ongoing (forever P0300 P0304 P0306) i changed and checked almost everything. I'll hope the sensors will help.
