Code P20ee and back ordered parts

I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland eco diesel and have had number of different issues all related to the emission controls on it. The most recent being p20ee code with a check engine light. I love the Jeep but in the 2 years that I have owned it, I have had it in the shop more than my old 05 Jeep that I had for over a decade. All of the issues it has been in the shop for have been related to the emissions systems. I would delete the whole system but I live in CA. Has anyone else had what seem to be constant issues with these systems on their eco diesel Jeep?

Whoa... I just read your posted thread. I'm sorry to hear that man. That sounds so incredibly frustrating. I'm nervous about my vehicle's repeated problems but your experience sounds so much worse and it sounds like you are way more mechanically capable than I. Did you get everything sorted out yet? I doubt it, but did you ever manage to get a refund for the $770? Are you going to get rid of your Jeep or keep it?

No, not completely sorted, I still have to go through all BS with Customer Care for the refund, and no, Im not getting rid of it for 2 reasons, 1. problems aside, It’s the nicest vehicle I’ve ever owned, and 2. I have a long way to go before it’s paid for, so for the foreseeable future, I’m kinda stuck with it!

Just sold my 2014, so if you want the GDE tuned ECU from it, it's on ebay at the moment. My Jeep never gave a moments trouble with this ECU, and you can just switch it out in 5 minutes if it needs to go to the dealer etc. Good luck sorting thru your issues.
