From what I’ve been reading on here the dashboard warping is common on 2020 Oveelands. Why is this an issue @JeepCares? When does this become a factory recall issue & not a consumer issue? The Overland is considered a luxury model & it’s only 5 years old! Make it make sense, PLEASE.

Recalls are for safety issues. Your dash covering is considered "trim". You only have one post, so if JeepCares responds, you won't be able to private message with them until you hit 5 posts, but you can call them.
Many, many threads on here about the leather dashes delaminating. For a brief period, Mopar fixed some of the dashes for no cost. If you have a great relationship with your local Jeep dealership, preferably the one you bought the Jeep from, you can ask them if they will fix it for free ... a handful of people have reported dealerships fixing it as a concession, but that is an exception. Can't hurt to ask, the worse (and likely) outcome is the dealer will say no.
There have been some recent threads here discussing the DIY fixes to the delaminating/warping. Use the search function to find them.
Here is one: https://www.jeepgarage.org/threads/delaminating-dashboard.253596/?post_id=2021425900#post-2021425900

There seems to be an impression that the delaminating leather dashes is recent. Not so.
My 2013 gc Overland delaminated at 45,000 miles. The factory did authorize a replacement for $100 deductible. The replacement looked better than the original and is still perfect today. I use a sunscreen whenever parked.
With all of the complaints against jeep GC's, that are redundant year after year, it is time that Stellantis sold the brand to a more reputable company that will dedicate itself to restoring Jeep as a superior brand, rewarding its' loyal owners. There can be no excuse for the same problems arising year after year. Not for the price of a new GC.

A year ago I wrote in about my bubbling dash. My dealer worked with Jeep and they offered to pay for the parts, if I paid for the labor. The labor was $2,500 and I foolishly figured it would last at least as long as the original. Despite my car being in the shade most of the time and use a weathertech shade, the fix lasted less than a year and neither my Dealership nor Jeep(cares) will do anything further. The message I received back was, why repair something that has already failed twice? My point here is don't expect the repair to work all that well. Investigate the cheap fixes first. Best of luck.

Experienced the same in my 2020 High Altitude. I wasted a month's worth of time trying to deal with JeepCares, and my supposed 'case manager' - they lied, said they'd spoken to the dealer (they didn't) - told me the dealer had to provide cost assistance, not Jeep (another lie which makes absolutely no sense) - At the end of the day, it seems the best way to get some sort of assistance is to have your dealer go to bat for you. After experiencing an insane amount of frustration dealing with Jeep, I reached out to my dealer who was able to get corporate to cover 80% of the dash replacement within less than a day of speaking to them. After the repair was done, I reached out to the NY attorney general's office. Within the week I was contacted by Stellantis corporate who reimbursed me the 20% I'd laid out plus my rental fees. It's been almost a year since the new dashboard install, and so far, so good. I doubt I'll ever get the same deal again, and so, am seriously thinking about selling/trading before this one has a chance to delaminate.
