Have the code cleared and start it up again, see if it comes back.

 

thanks did that and P0403 came on next day

 

check engine light on had checked at dealer said egr valve bad.replaced it and light on again had checked again said egr bad again. Help:d

did YOU replace the egr valve with an egr valve YOU sourced? or did they perform the repair with a mopar part? If it was the latter, take that crap back and have them warranty it... if it was the former, buy a better part

 

Thanks I got the part from rock auto the best one they had. After I cleared the code it came on the next day same code P0403 .I will wait for better weather and buy another EGR valve. maybe it is just a bad part. will let you know later if it was a bad valve. But thanks for your help

 

I am having the same problem did you resolve yours because this is getting ridiculous it's been going on for about 2 years and I have replaced the EGR valve and gasket three times any help would be appreciated

I've replaced mine twice over the years with a Rockauto EGR as preventative maintenance, no codes were ever present, and it is an easy 15 minute job after having done it before. I doubt the EGR is bad though, since you're seeing the same code after 3 new EGR's.
