I got some second hand Mopar rock rails and I am planning to install them. I cannot find any info on bolts and nuts that would normally be included when ordering the rock rails from Mopar.

If anyone could share part number(s) or the specs that would be really nice.

Thanks a bunch. This actually helps a lot.

Mopar seems to have flag bolts instead of insert nuts and only 3 of them instead of 6 per side. Any idea on the part number of these?

I'd like to stick as close as possible to original mounting instructions. I doubt it will matter much for offroad use, i.e. it will be sturdy enough even if I do it like Chief Products one. However, it could make a lot of difference in an accident.

My thinking is the rock sliders become part of the vehicle unibody "frame" and they are probably supposed to act in certain way in an accident. Attaching them in non-standard way might make them act very differently.

I have no idea, I just recall watching a YouTube a few years ago of chief rail install and seeing someone comment that they were very similar to mopar.
To be really concerned about this fastener vs that fastener when both are known to be adequate, well… good luck.
And remember what uncle Bob used to say
“Making the perfect the enemy of the good is a recipe for stagnation and frustration.”
