I have tried led lights to replace the factory halogen fog light bulbs in my 2015 Grand Cherokee Limited. They work alright however I keep on running into the problem where there is moisture on the inside lens. I am out of the return period for the led however the company was nice enough to send me a replacement set to see if that solves the problem however it didn't. I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue. I'm considering changing out the fog lights with the morimoto ones that you suggested. When installing it did you need to remove the bumper or where you able to remove some of the liner from below to change out the housings. I also ordered a hid conversion kit designed by gtr lighting for the low beams. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with that. My previous car had HID from the factory and when I got my GC this summer I felt like I couldn't see anything. I have tried led bulbs for the low beam however they were terrible in the projector housing.
Did you replace the cap on the back of the headlight assembly? That may have something to do with your moisture issue. Could also be the gasket on the bulb. Lots of cheap amazon and chinese bulbs use loose gaskets that don't work. You should be able to reuse the gasket from your original halogen bulbs for a better and tighter fit.

When I say tried I mean that I currently have h11 led bulbs in the halogen factory projector housing for both fog light and low beams. The fog lights have alright light pattern however moisture keeps getting into the housing even after I’ve taken out the bulbs and let the housing dry out and carefully reinstalled the led bulb. The how beam just have crappy light pattern. I didn’t know until after that projection housings aren’t really ment to have aftermarket led used in them according to the led company I bought from. In picture 1 there is led in the fog and low beam u can see the light pattern produced. In picture 2 I swapped the low beam bulbs from left to right and right to left and it had made somewhat of a difference however it has left much to be desired compared to the hid bulbs that I was used to in my previous car.

LEDs in the projector low beam is less then desirable. It's best to use an HID bulb for the low beam. The LEDs will work better in a reflector housing like the high beams. If your LEDs are the blade style that has a light on each side you have to install it so the lights are in the 3 and 9 position for optimal output. Lot of the cheap LEDs are not adjustable and shouldn't be used.

So I swapped my low beams from some cheep LED lights from amazon to a kit HID from headlight revolution. I was wondering if anyone here knew what the day time running lights are on a GC that has halogen from factory. Are they the low beam or the high bean but like dimmed. I ask because when I finally finished with the HID install and started to drive the low bean HID would rapidly flicker when the DRL are active. The kit I got included the canbus kit and relays, ect. When i turned off the daytime running light setting off the flickering stopped. So im wondering if the DRLs are done with the low beam not the high beam like i thought they were.
Don’t know if there is a difference in years, but on ‘20 it is the low beams. With appcar or alfaobd you can change it. I selected the turn signals/park. In the software it says parking but in reality it uses the turn signal circuit. This is important as a switchback will not work as desired. But the stock bulbs work fine.
