Excellent idea, thank you. I’ll give it a try but from what I’ve read the speed is from the wheel speed sensors and not the transmission. Changing the gear ratio might help shift points tho as I seem to be in 7th now where I used to be in 8th at the same speeds.
Good point. With that in mind, when I change the gearing in my Trailhawk, I am going to tell the BCM that I am going from 3.09 to 3.70 gearing. My assumption is, it will correct the speedometer. ? ? ?

I am also under the assumption that the wheel sensors are for ESC & ABS and not vehicle speed.

I also performed all steps as described. I then cycled the ignition and waited like 5 minutes and then cycled back on. Went into ABS verified there was a fault, cleared the fault and made sure there were no faults in BCM either. However when I start the car up I still get the dreaded Park Sense Not Available when the switch is on

Now here is the one mistake I may be making. I selected the ABS module for the item in Yellow thinking my Jeep is a 2018, but I am betting the first item is actually the correct one. Can anyone confirm on this?

We definitely have the powernet. I’m not 100% but it’s something about the canbus system and how the bcm talks to the different modules. It’s electronics so it’s basically witchcraft to me. I emailed alfaobd and got no answers other than to unhook the battery and try to clear the faults again.

I have been reading other forums and talking with some developers and I think the unlocked PCM might be the key. They indicated that the BCM get configuration data from the PCM when the jeep powers on. This might be something that Alpha can not modify via the BCM updates. I am looking around for the CANBUS wiring layout for the Jeep GC WK2, if someone has it can you post a link.

The unlocked PCM has nothing to do with the information stored in the BCM or the ABS module.
The key, unless you have already done this part is the Security Gateway Module bypass.

What circumference size are you using for the new tires?

If you are using 2440mm and are still getting the "dreaded ParkSense Unavailable" message, try subtracting 10mm at a time to see if this will correct your issue. 2430mm and then 2420mm and so on.

Be sure to perform the ABS initializing and clear codes after each update.

Has anyone done this without windows or an android? I unfortunately have neither. If anyone is in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma or Colorado I would be willing to pay someone to help me configure this for my WK2.

Following the steps outlined using AlphaOBD on an old windows laptop I had laying around. I am getting this error "Failed. Service not supported in Active Diagnostic Session" My interface looks a little different because I am not using the tablet version but the steps are all the same. Any thoughts? I figured it out. Got the speedo to match. Stoked!!!

I just did this yesterday with Windows version of AlfaOBD. No issues. I am runnning 275/60R20. I input a circumfrence of 2640mm. Performed the steps in the ABS Initialization. I have yet to test how accurate the speedo is yet.

Does anyone have a good nav app thats free for Ios that measures speed?
