Hi. I'm after some advice on weather I need to reset my engine ECU after changing injector 1. I was told that was the cause of my car being very slow. So I have changed it today for one that came with the car. The resistance is 108. However after changing it it has made no difference. It will get up past 2000rpm but is very slow. Doesn't seem to be any sort of boost . Just like it is still in limp mode. There is no warning lights and no smoke. thanks

I'm not a diesel guy so take what i say with a grain of salt.
Important! Have you had the PCM scanned for any active or stored trouble codes?
Could be clues there as to whats going on.
Not sure about diesels but i'd think its the same as re-setting the PCM on gasoline vehicles.
Just disconnect the battery's Neg (-) cable then leave the cable disconnected for a good hour or so then reconnect.
Got nothing to loose by trying that.
