Anybody see CFT Performance yet? They just designed an intercooler kit with plumbing that will be available soon for the WK2. This includes a new turbo neck and throttle valve neck (or delete) for positive boot retention.

I just had them install the remote oil cooler and so far it's great. I'm fortunate enough to be close enough for the owner to do a lot of my installs.

I run the CFT catch can and I plan on getting their intercooler and pipe kit next.

So technically no sense ...

I prefer to save money to tune my 190hp version to the "original" 250 hp (and tons of torque).

Thanks for the fast reply !!!

Does the Ram catch can work on the GC? Didn't see one specific on the site.

Sounds cool. But can somebody please translate this for me:
NO MORE TURBO HOT SIDE BOOT BLOW OFF!!!! NO OTHER KIT HAS THIS ON THE MARKET!!!!
What is hot side boot blow off? Why is getting rid of it good? Are there any potential trade-offs or things you may lose by installing this?

There wasn't much room on the stock turbo neck to attach an aftermarket boot, thus they were prone to blowing off under boost. CFT has the only replacement turbo neck that I've seen, adds a ton of surface area and a rolled edge bead to hold the boot securely.

CFT's intercooler kit is top notch. A potential trade off is it might require removal of the grill shutters, which isn't a big loss.

Any other questions, just ask. I live pretty close to the CFT Performance shop and have a lot of their products.

They should have a GC catch can by now, contact Josh the owner and ask. If not, he can get you a one-off can right away.

I run one of his cans, can't beat the stainless steel construction, EZ drain valve, and baffle construction (No CEL and no screen to clean/clog).
