Ouray trip in late November, thoughts?

Hello all,

We're planning on making a Thanksgiving week trip to Ridgway/Ouray for vacation, likely getting an Airbnb or something to stay in. We'll be trailer in our wrangler with us for some trail rides up there we hope (we're novices really).

Question is....is winter really full steam ahead then with trails being likely to be closed or are things still "visitable"? We came to Colorado Springs a few years ago during the same time and the weather was great. We're good with cold I just don't want to trailer up the jeep and find all the jeep stuff closed?

Thoughts?

Thanks for the reply...I had called a tour company up there and heard the same thing. I didn't realize it was so snow covered....guess that's why it's a summer destination. I'll start early for next year I guess. We're going to Big Bend Natl Park in Texas instead...
