I don’t think there are any published release notes so it should be bug fixes and tweaks. No features but then again mine still hasn’t updated!

 

Nor sure what all changes/bugs fixed but great improvement on my 2024 JGC Overland NIGHT VISION. On '19, '22, and '24 the image filled the entire display and images were blurred. Now, the display is about half sized and I can make out signs, poles, cars, etc. Along with some icons. Long overdue considering cost of feature.

 

Seems as tho I wrote too soon, been getting a message pop up (while driving in daylight) "night vision unavailable.. sensor blocked" (3xs yesterday, 3 xs today). Dealer said camera dirty ... yeah right, I go thru car wash regularly. AND suddenly, tiles in display are blank. 3 new Jeep Overland in 5 years. ALL had/have some electronics/electrical issues.

 

Hopefully this update downloads for me soon.

 

Had it performed at dealership while in for another issue

 

I received the update, Build Number: FCA-MY24.U33.43-PROD, over the air about a month ago. The most immediately visible difference is that it now briefly flashes the status of the front and rear fans on startup for some reason, but not in a way that allows interaction.

But now I find, on startup, it occasionally freezes the backup camera and emits a continuous buzz from the radio until it’s restarted by holding the radio power button for 10 seconds, leaving it inoperative for around 2 minutes. I’ve seen notes about prior versions having this problem, but before this update, my only UConnect problem was its occasional random switch to a new menu option, which it still does. This upgrade was a downgrade to me, so I hope another follows soon.
