The new JL is far superior. I just ordered a Red Rubicon Unlimited yesterday. I was waiting to order it with the Sky One-Touch Power Top. I can't wait...

Hey all,

After the reveal what are y’all’s thoughts on the new wrangler?
I am 100% in love with it - ordered my Granite JLUR on 6/8. Can't wait to see her and hope she gets here in time for my 50th birthday in August :)

On the aspect of infotainment I think these features are pretty cool.

• 7.0-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment
• Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Automatic climate control

Apple Carplay and Android auto are the norm these days for every new vehicle and I think this will be similair for the 8.4 inch Uconnect system. What do you guys think?

I’ve had my 2018 Wrangler JLU for three weeks and like it except for the steering. It wants to wander all over the place. Dealer checked it out and agrees but when talking to the factory, they say it’s typical. I’ve got what I’ve got!
I don’t think so. After reading several other posts on various forums, I find hundreds of similar complaints. If Jeep takes a hard line here and refuses to address this issue, they could be setting themselves up for a class action lawsuit. This condition is dangerous!

Love mine! The turning radius is a beastttt! I feel like i could do donuts if I wanted LOLLL! Love everything about it, other than the attention I get on the freeways...people crowd me!

How much air is in your tires?

Forget what others are saying. Live axle Jeeps will wander a little. Keep driving it and eventually your body, mind and soul will adapt.

Have had ours for a month, no issues thus far, very nice rig, Sahara 3.6 8sp Selecctrac, LSD, CWG, Trailer Tow, dual top, alpine/nav,cloth.

JL is way better than JK in terms of interior ride. Hardest part of JL test drive was trying to find a manual trans in my area! Finally found one -- engine+ vibes are so quiet it took some time to get used to what the RPMs were for launching out of first gear -- quite a jump from my 3spd in the CJ5! Pulled the trigger in Sept on a 2019 JLUS 3.6/MT.

hit and miss from what I have seen, but great for the most part. loose/wandering steering issues and for me Electronic Stability Control alarm and Auto Start/Stop already requires service at 6K miles.

I really need to go test drive a Jeep. Only problem is my local Chrysler dealer's salespeople are jerks. I tried to buy a Ram from them when I bought my 2015 F150, knuckleheaded salesman left me while I was pulling into parking lot yelling out the window to his bros. Sheesh. The dealer does indeed make the difference.

We drove JKs and then a ‘19 JLU Sahara - drove it home that afternoon. 2600 miles in and it’s been great! Yes, it requires more driving skill but it reminds me more of the touch you need with a sports car. Easy to adjust to, amazing turning radius but I expected that from a Jeep. Took some hunting trails and the transfer case (command trac) was perfect. All Jeep!

My previous ride, a 2005 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Z71 took zero effort to steer as it was designed to drive in long, straight lines. So the adaptation from GMC steering to Jeep steering took a few days but the more I drove the Jeep the easier it was to relax and enjoy. Like my old Corvette, you have to pay attention due to more responsive steering, which is not a big deal if you enjoy driving. [emoji41]

I just picked up my 2020 wrangler jl sport s three days ago. So far everything is perfect. No issues with steering at all, of course time will tell for sure.
