MY2014 - Uconnect 8.4AN

Is there any way to disable the Uconnect "messaging" voice prompt notification when a new text message is received? I've RTFM, and looked through all settings, but can't find anything.

I know you're probably going to suggest disabling Bluetooth Message Access Profile (MAP) for text messages in my phone. Unfortunately there's no way to selectively disable "messaging" on a Bluetooth connection, while keeping the others like voice and audio enabled.

Basically the "messaging" functionality in Uconnect sucks. It won't let me voice-dictate a reply etc. Whereas the digital assistant on my phone will, and it's brilliant. Except right now when I receive a text, both my phone's digital assistant and the Uconnect VR system come on at the same time and talk over each other. It used to work wayyy better with my old phone that didn't support "messaging".

It's neither, it's a Windows Phone, and there's no way on the phone end to selectively disable only the "messaging" functionality of Bluetooth, without also disabling voice and audio, which I still need. Which is why I was hoping there was a Uconnect setting to simply disable the Jeep's voice notification upon an incoming text message.

With my old phone, the "messaging" softkey on the phone screen in Uconnect was simply greyed out due to it being not supported. Bluetooth voice and audio still worked, which was perfect. Trying to replicate that behaviour.
