For anyone who needs help I made a video to try and help because there aren't too many videos out there for light bar options for the WK2 Grand Cherokee.

Awesome video! Thank you for doing this.

Super newb on electric here. but...

Quick question/request. Everything was super clear, but anyway you can go over the wiring in detail. How did you hook it up to the fuse box? If that's possible that would huge, that's always my problem with wiring is where to connect everything.

If not no worries!

Well done, thanks. Heads up to those interested -- 4x4fabworks told me they are getting out of the lighting bracket business. I went ahead and ordered the bracket shown in this video before they all go away.

No I'm too chicken. I'll wait till the kid next door comes back from Alaska. He swapped out my tow hooks for me. He was an Eagle Scout -- he can do anything.

But when I do I plan to (a) wire them with a remote switch keyed to one of the Homelink buttons and (b) hook them up so that they are only on when the brights are on (see other threads on these topics). And (c) probably use the Black Oak LED pods.

I just installed a 20" lightbar off amazon - while custom brackets would prob be the easiest route (and also most expensive), i was able to make a bracket in about 10 minutes (super easy) - i just used some flatbar, cut it to about 3 inches and drilled two holes in opposite ends. My lightbar mounts from the top, not the sides and my bracket essentially just moves the lightbar a few inches closer to the radiator so the lightbar will clear the front grill once bumper is back on. All in was under $75 bucks (i did have some wires and relays already but they are pretty cheap). I used a relay and a switch (with on1-off-on2) so i can turn lightbar on manually, or if select on2 then will go on and off with the high beams.
