Guys,

Any advice where to tune my WK2 SRT?

I'm really pissed off.

I called many tuners. They always say these words (( sorry we don't work on this car )).

What to do ???

Thanks

Better have $30k+ ready to spend....seriously. The reality is, these engines and their tuning are pretty tough to build on without big money. IMO, the money it's going to take to add good power to these rigs just isn't going to be cost effective or in peoples budgets across the board. Enjoy the truck as it is.

Not going to have Eco Mode anymore once you do what will be needed to get that horsepower. Personally, I drive 80 miles round trip on the highway for work, and I notice no big difference using Eco mode.

Two things I'm concerned about which I still would like to have them after tuning.

lunch control & eco mode

Will I be able to use them after the tuning is done ?

Regarding TT creations,

How long have they been tuning ?

Are they trustworthy ?

Excuse me guys but it's all about money and loss.

I don't want to take my car them and afterwards they they return it to me as a piece of scrap.

This is for the benefit of all of us.

Still waiting for your advice.

Please show me a demon vehicle with 650 hp and 800 hp. They've done 1 srt and the kit looked like shot imho and ran an 11.7 in the quarter. I would much rather send my $70k jeep to someone like Chris hull, stage 6 or someone who's actually built more than one cobbled together kit.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I know this is a clean install and actually won an award @ Moparfest PBIR. I have not seen any other boosted WK2 making the power or running the 1/4 mile that mine does. Have yet to see any TVS2300 do well. So to each their own. I'm happy!!! The twin turbo Chris is building is capable of making up to 1200hp with the right supporting mods. I'll be maxed out with my build without going up to a F1 when I'm done with the engine. But, I can still upgrade in the future if I want without any more major mods. There has been a very small market on the WK2's for boosting. People don't want to lose their warranties, or want to spend the extra money on the vehicle. So that's why you don't see a whole lot in my opinion. Also nobody really want's to be the first, and that's all understandable. If anyone has questions about building boosted vehicles I'll try to give them some answers. I've learned a lot since this has started, have not done any major mods in many years. And when I'm wrong about something, I'll admit it. I know what has failed and what works. I'm not going to get into a pissing match about Demon. They offered me a product that I was interested in and took the chance with them, and I'm happy.

Simple fact is, if you want to spend 20 grand or more and only make 500whp on your supercharged setup, that’s fine. I’m sure there are plenty of other companies out there that will cater to your needs… but if you want to take that same 20 grand and walk away with another 100+whp on top of that under your belt, give us a shout! We can make it happen.

It's not about you can make it happen or not, many tuners can make it happen. Its about & quality work that you offer, price and warranty.

One of the members here talked about his experience with Arrington and what they did to his WK2 and everybody knows who's Arrington.

What gain have he had from them ?

- Nothing, moreover,
- Paid 20k to them for +/- 100 hp.
- Was disappointed (shocked) of their work.
- Sold his car.
- bought a new car (GTR).

It's all a waste of money and time for nothing.

Definitely We don't want to be put in his place.

I guess you got my point don't you.

All this back and forth has made me decide to just forget a super charger / Turbo. Truth is it sounds like it will be a few years before a "Bolt on kit" with no headaches is ready for our trucks. Hear is what I think. For 20K we can get one of these *2014 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade* 200hp / 500 pounds! Just my opinion and the way I am probably going.

What headaches?

Our kit was designed for install and use sans headaches. Hence the amount of time and money invested in the R&D process.

Few Years?

Our kit is in production now and we are taking orders.

I can assure you this is not back and forth Steve. Our name and product were slandered here in this thread and some of our loyal customers thought it best we know about it. So we stepped in to clear the air. Nothing more, nothing less.

Johan Mangs from DiabloSport is doing all of our custom tuning on all our Hemi vehicles as well as the '12 and '13s WK2 kits currently, and he will also be doing the custom tuning on the '14 when it arrives in house as well. Jim's rig runs flawlessly when cruising around during normal day to day operations and runs like an angry machine WOT with zero issues. This is why we spent so much time on the tuning. Tuning a '14 won't be that much different then a '12 or a '13 is. New 8speed trans and a few new electronic features won't change the way the tune needs to be to make the engine run the way Jim's does.

Wow, talk about witch hunts....

I can only go by what I've read on the other site, but the owner of the GC in question is, to date, happy. Happy enough to allow Demon to hold on to the car after the mods and take it to the next level. The pics I saw contained nothing that would pass off as "cobbled". Quite frankly, I think that this accusation is slanderous at best.

Demon performance- no one made a slanderous remark about your product. They only posted an opinion. If a negative opinion about a product is slanderous. ...then by hell all the major car mags, consumers digest etc. Are in for some shit. I do admit your kit looks much better from what I had seen before. No idea if all your statements are true. ...but if they are congrats. I will do u like I do most vendors who visit this forum. Post what u on have for supercharger kits and if you receive interest I suspect you will do the right thing and become a vendor. If not...so be it.
