Unfortunately our Jeep Grand Cherokee 4Xe Trailhawk has had those replaced, the stabilizer bar replaced 3x’s, all 4 air shocks, upper and lower control arms, brackets and it still clunks. We get a call from customer assistance weekly advising the latest setting up a different dealer to take it to and we have opened a NHTSA complaint as well. Nothing has taken care of our clunking in the front end unfortunately. Stay tuned …
Yeah, that's unacceptable. Definitely keep us in the loop with any progress or lack thereof.

Update about mine after driving it more: it's still clunking. 😑

Mine is at ~37k miles, and it's getting worse. Sometimes I hear it on the left and right, although the right side is more consistent. "I dunno" is all I get from the dealer. It's so insanely aggravating for any vehicle, much less one at this price point.

I did a search of the forum did not see a topic that pertains to my exact question
Now that’s out of the way.
ive Noticed since new every corner on my L SR clunks over a curb, speed bump, pothole, whatever. Even backing out of my driveway at crawling speeds onto the road it makes a audible “pock” sound as each tire hits the curb.
Is this “normal” for the QL suspension? I’m sure my 21” wheels don’t help but they aren’t the source of the noise.
fact that it’s front and rear lead me to think it has to be the air suspension.
otherwise system works well and rides nice… just clunks like wore out bushings over imperfections.
I have an appointment for Tuesday but if I can point them in a particular direction I’m less likely to get the “could not replicate issue”
Thanks.
Dealing with this since we bought it brand new. Thing has been torn apart multiple times. Air shocks (all 4) replaced, upper and lower control arms, brackets, stabilizer bar (multiple times, most recently (once again) with a new or superseded part) - we were told it was cracked. It is better, but not fixed. We have the exact issue it sounds like from your description. Clunking in and out of the driveway, right or left turns that have a dip or bump to set it off. Occasionally just driving. We obviously also have the air suspension. Good luck!
