Personally I like it, on several of my nicer cars. But I sure wouldn't want it on a Wrangler or Gladiator.

Just got back home from the tint shop. Cactus Tint in Scottsdale Az. Fantastic job. Got the windshield tinted, 70%, 40% for the two front doors, and XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF 10 satin for the center screen and clear for the piano black console. The satin cuts down on glare and I still have the piano black console. But the protective film does 2 things. Looks good and protects from scratches. Any help with photo will be greatly appreciated...

I just got mine back from the installer doing the Xpel kit. It looks fantastic and is well worth the 170 for the kit and 75 install. They said they could not figure out where some of the pieces went - but I believe that is because the kit is for the L, not 2-row. I'll figure that out later. Love that it is on the main screen.

Also had my door surrounds de-chromed. YAY!

Pictures would be nice addition ;)

I am unable to post pics it said that I don't have the accepted extension? Any help out there...
How did you take a pics? With your phone?
What phone? Do you add them from phone or from PC is from OC how did you get them off the PC?
If its Apple phone they probably in HEIC format (extension) you can convert to jpeg buy using converter

Goole HEIC to Jpeg there are many out

You can change the format to Most Compatible in Camera settings and new pics will be in jpeg format.

Hi - sorry for delay...work. I have tried to get good pics...but the insall (i had it done) of the Xpel kit is so seamless you can't even see it is there. I will try to get the main screen edges today...as that is the only place you can kind of see the film.

No worries and understood. If you displayed photos (like 22Reserve) has I'm not sure we would be able to tell (which is a good thing). Do you have it installed on all of the center console and navigation screen? If so, how does it feel to the touch?

Curious - do you have to get things pretty wet to do the install? If so how did the keep from getting water into the wrong places like on electronics under the center stack?

Anyone try this product?

Rick, the owner of Cactus Tint in Scottsdale had the same concerns. His top guy did the install, very little water was used. I had to let it sit outside the shop for an hour or so. The installer checked it before I left, thumbs up. Of course the temp outside was about 102 degrees that day. Temp makes the difference and knowing how to use the heat gun...

I can tell, except on the main screen, The edges were wrapped over the curved outside edges of the screen. The piano black I'm trusting they covered them, can't see an edge on those areas...

Question - hopefully my 4xe will be shipping in the next week or so. I am planning to get PPF put on all piano black trim and screens immediately because I know it is prone to scratching. Should I ask them not to remove the protective wrap from these areas? I would hate for the car wash guy to scratch it without thinking/knowing.
