I successfully enabled the Euro rear turn signals on my 2014 GC Limited using AlfaODB with a OBDLink MX+. The app was a bit confusing at first, but I got the hang of it and was able to change the following settings to separate the rear stop lights from the rear turns:
  • Combined Rear Lighting = No
  • Right Rear Turn Lamp Usage = Right Rear Turn Signal
  • Left Rear Turn Lamp Usage = Left Rear Turn Signal
I also swapped out the rear stops and rear turns with LEDs (red for stop, amber for turn) by enabling these 2 settings:
  • LED Stop Lamps Present = Yes
  • LED Rear Turn Lamps Present = Yes
Works flawlessly.

What else to enable or disable now? lol

I wish I could diable the drive safely prompt on the RA3 radio that you have to press Accept in order to use the radio each time you start the vehicle. So annoying. Is that possible?

I also enabled the Off Road Pages but it didn't do anything...I guess only the Trailhawk can have that feature?

I finally got home yesterday befor the freeze here in Colorado. Went from 80 to 30 lol. Anyways got my lights switched over and I really like the look so much better now.
Zeropcs, when it warms back up in the coming days I can look into that info you want.

has anyonebeen able to turn off the seatbelt warning ? I have tried time after time to do it but the Jeep never takes the change.

Hello! I used AlfaOBD to make some small changes to my 2019 Trailhawk. One of them I made was to disable the fog light dropout with high beams. My Trailhawk has the auto high-beam assist feature. What I noticed immediately after making this change was that the auto high-beam assist feature wasn't working (it wouldn't turn the high beams on). I could manually turn them on (if I disabled auto high beam assist through the infotainment system). After that, the auto high beam assist started to work. Then, after a few weeks, it will only work intermittently. I can't determine a discernible pattern. When I took it back to the dealership, the service manager told me they would only diagnose if it had a code, which, of course, there isn't one. Could it be that AlfaOBD may have corrupted something in during the update to the body control module that might be causing this? I was thinking about turning the feature off and seeing the auto high-beam assist worked again as normal. Thoughts?

I turned the chime off by connecting to Instrument Panel / Program Customer Features / Seat Belt Alert System / Disable.

It still has the light but no chime. Theres a video on you tube...

I would definitely try to enable the fog light dropout again as it was to see if it helps. After reading your post I did. My jeep came without the auto high beam option but i don't really understand why because i seem to have all the hardware, Forward facing camera and the ACC radar thing in the front fascia. I Tried enabling Auto high beams in Alfa and it doesn't work. One of the first things i did when i got Alfa was turn off the "enable fog light dropout" so now after reading your post I enabling it again to see if that works for me.

If you ever get the urge to take the cover of your Forward Facing Camera behind your rear view take a picture of your cameras part number for me to see if it matches the one I have.. I would like to see if it matches another 2019 to know if i at least have the correct camera for Auto high beams.

i have tried multiple times but the state never changes to disabled for some reason. Tried many restarts and nothing. May just do it the old way using the seatbelt itself

There's a technique that only requires buckling and unbuckling the seat belt several times...just do a search... it goes something like buckle, turn on, unbuckle, re buckle two or three more times, then turn back off. But I can't remember if the last part is buckled or unbuckled. I did my previous jeep that way and it does work. I just did a Google search at the time to get the directions.

yeah I have it saved somewhere. Thanks for the reminder

When I did it it was giving me a "May Not Be Supported" error and I had to make sure the ignition was in Run so it wouldn't disconnect or at least that is the way it seemed to be. When I connect to the body computer i never needed it in Run.

Fishguy... Any chance it's warned up?

New here, and somewhat new to Grand Cherokees, but I’m very familiar with AlfaOBD in the Ram community. I’m in the process of adding the blind spot monitoring from a 2019 ram to a 2017 ram. Problem is, this was not a factory option on pre-2019 Rams, BUT, Rams and grand Cherokees pretty much share BCMs and door modules, and the blind spot sensors are nearly the same. All the settings are there in car configuration change, and my cluster supports the feature. What I’m missing is the object detection module under select function on the main alfa screen. Before I email the developer with some questions, I’m wondering if anyone with blind spot monitoring can do me a favor. @Daniel454 posted his BCM configuration at the end of the first post. The part that I need to see, programmed ECUs cabin network : right and left blind spot sensor, is missing because the list is incomplete. Can someone with blind spot post their BCM configuration? Also, can someone select the object detection module on the main page, and verify that both right and left blind spot sensors can be connected to? Can the sensor connectivity test be successfully performed on each sensor? Thanks in advance.

I'll see if I can upload mine, to GD, tonight. If it works. I'll send it to you.

2019 GCTH...loaded.

Working on getting a bypass harness from @deerguy (RamForums), to start work on the Jeep.

Question for you all. I already have AlfaOBD as I used it to add HIDs and LED fogs to my 2017 Ram without dealing with all the resistor crap.

I want to upgrade to LED headlights and fogs in my wifes 2013 Altitude, I guess my question is will the enable LED setting work on something from the "older" generation (I guess pre 8.4 stuff)? Id hate to buy some lights and get not be able to get it to work.

And for what its worth, cheap ebay lights with no relays resistors etc work great on my truck with AlfaOBD:)
