I'd love to see complete pictures of the sway bar disconnect, can't find one anywhere.

The photos online for that part aren't right, just an end link, but look at that price.

Why do all of these service write ups mention steering wheel peel?
My neighbor who has some sort of management position at the Jefferson plant told me they replaced the wheel on his company Overland for that reason and that I may be getting a notice about it. I guess, they're looking for it.

Yeah. It's a stupidly manufactured part.

Happy that the dealership got it done quickly and painlessly though. Hope the new one holds.

I always get Mopar Maxcare w/ infinite miles, especially with this iteration of a new platform and the last gasp of the Hemi in Jeeps. Last 3 GC's I've owned all had QuadraLift / air suspension. Never had any problems with any of them (2 WKs and current WL), all upside, no downside so far.

For me personally, Maxcare has mostly amounted to donating money to Mopar for no particular reason, because it has never paid for itself on any of my cars 🤷‍♂️On the flipside, I guess I provide the karmic balance for people with 99 problems who visit their Jeep dealer continuously.
I wish we had unlimited mile warranty available in Canada… we are $3,900 for full warranty extension for 6 years.. and 120,000kms (75,000 miles)

The clunk on mine has gotten really bad in the past couple of days. It's coming specifically from the driver's side front end and I can now hear it over larger bumps while driving. Not just over speedbumps.

I knew air suspension was a bad choice.
I have a 2022 Trailhawk with the V6 and it's doing exactly the same thing. Going to call the dealer tomorrow but wondering if you got this resolved?

Edit: NM, read the rest of the thread. Wow. I'm going to check under mine in the morning and see if mine is the same problem.

Do you have a better angle of that? It looks like it also broke right at the end?

Wow. Has anyone confirmed what that part does?

I didn't get a better picture but here's an image of the new part they are installing. It's the entire sway bar. They have to drop the front subframe to get it in. It's a pretty major job. View attachment 248281
Is this part specific to the two row 4xe models with sway bar disconnect capability, or is this the same part on all cars with Quadralift (2 or 3 row)??

AWESOME, I was wondering what it looked like! So that is a mounting brace for the disconnect actuator, basically unrelated to the sway bar itself!

What a total waste of money, all it needs is a new bracket bolted on, (ideally a better/stronger one!). Should be like a $20 part.

Seriously. I don't know if they allow you to keep the old part, but that seems like an easy money fix, and hold on to the part for apres-warranty? (or ebay that $3k part?!?)

I know I would take it in a heartbeat, I'd love to add that to my Summit. That and a 5 minute weld with side stiffeners, and down the road.

So I finally got my WL back today. They fixed the sway bar in a timely manner but they managed to break my seatbelt somehow. It took two weeks to get a new one shipped to the dealer.

The Jeep drives nice. No more clunking and actually feels better than before. I'm wondering if it was installed incorrectly at the factory. I was not able to keep the old part. I have a feeling it either went back to the factory or to some outfit that remanufactures them for the parts market.

I hope it holds up. I plan on taking out to some proper rocky trails this summer and having it break out there again would really suck.

I did a search of the forum did not see a topic that pertains to my exact question Now that’s out of the way. ive Noticed since new every corner on my L SR clunks over a curb, speed bump, pothole, whatever. Even backing out of my driveway at crawling speeds onto the road it makes a audible “pock” sound as each tire hits the curb. Is this “normal” for the QL suspension? I’m sure my 21” wheels don’t help but they aren’t the source of the noise. fact that it’s front and rear lead me to think it has to be the air suspension. otherwise system works well and rides nice… just clunks like wore out bushings over imperfections. I have an appointment for Tuesday but if I can point them in a particular direction I’m less likely to get the “could not replicate issue” Thanks.
I have a 2022 grand Cherokee L with the air ride system. It suddenly started making the clunking noises as well coming out of my driveway. It was fine in the beginning but 8 months in it counts like a 35 yr old Ford truck trying to come out of the driveway haha. Took it to the dealer who did not take it for a test drive like I suggested but did “rigorous” testing with their machines in the garage. I will say that once the car has been driven for a bit it stops making the noises. Like when I get home it doesn’t make the noise anymore. So it’s more like an 80 yr old tryin to get outta bed in the morning. Either way it’s not acceptable. It’s a brand new jeep!
